Calypso's place, the haze thinning. OZZY is awake — fully, painfully awake — and he does not just bolt for the door. He turns back to the woman who kept him. He needs her help to reach the water, and he owes her the truth first. Sparse piano.

OZZY — Calypso. I remember now. God help me, I remember. There's a porch light I let go dark.

Calypso listens to all of it. She could blow one more leaf. She doesn't. Something in her has decided.

THE GOODBYE

OZZY takes the keys. He crosses to her, and it's a real goodbye — he kisses her forehead. No haze, no trick, no monster. Just two lonely people, one of whom is finally going home.

OZZY — Thank you, Calypso. For the soft place. And for the door.

He goes. The last mile is his now.

Button. CALYPSO, alone, does the thing she's never done. She lights one candle — her own small porch light — and for the first time she does not blow smoke. She just sits in the clear, quiet air, and lets herself feel it. Blackout. The lonely villain didn't get defeated. She got free.
